Yes, I am still a family photographer + filmmaker

I realize now that I have a new for 2022 separate website for Colie James – Dubsado Certified Specialist, a few of you might not realize I am a family filmmaker + photographer in the Boulder, Colorado area. 

With my expansion to Dubsado setups and a pandemic (HELLO COVID), the photography side of my business has really slowed down. My Instagram grid has been all Dubsado for all of 2022 and that was TOTALLY intentional.  I have never gotten photography clients direct from my social media, so in the last year I finally gave myself permission to stop sharing photography client work on my IG grid. The mix messaging between photographers + creative entrepreneurs and my photography clients was really hard to balance, so I decided to just STOP.

Do you want to see what my client work looks like?

 

 

For some clients I hop on a plane, fly to your location, and film your family for 3 hours, LOL sometimes 14 ?, and deliver a film you will be able to watch with your children and future grandchildren. The film above is very special to me as I’ve known the mom since I was 12. They recently relocated so I am very happy we captured their family in their first home before they went off on their latest adventure!

For other clients, I pop over to your house a few times a year and make a film that allows you to see how much your children grow in a year. Yearbooks as definitely a passion project of mine and even if I ever give up the filmmaking portion of my business, I don’t think I will ever be able to walk away from these types of clients.

 

Okay, I probably won’t talk about photography on THIS website much, if ever. So just remember, in addition to Dubsado setups for creative entrepreneurs, I am also a totally bad-ass family photographer + filmmaker!  You can see more of that work over on my original website HERE.
